The Energy of Crystals with Azalea Lee
This in-person interview was recorded on November 17, 2023, on land that was originally inhabited by and stolen from the Tongva people.
Griffith Park Bird Sanctuary is an oddly hidden trail, right off the busy drive leading up to the Observatory. A chain link fence surrounding this protected area, denotes a “keep out” flavor that makes it all the more exciting to traverse. I notice a luscious Bird-Of-Paradise stand, towering near the trail entrance, which strikes a chord of irony in me.
Together, Azalea and I walk the gentle, upward path of oak, sycamore, and holly, to the top where we sit at a picnic table, surrounded by views of the arid hillside and a few birds. This place, an oasis within the bustling city of angels, held by ancient rocks and intoxicating sagebrush, is our backdrop. The time unfolds with gleaming gemstone wisdom and facets of new insights to explore.
Azalea is earnest in her views and full of knowledge that brings a welcome depth to the study of crystal energy, beyond simply naming metaphysical properties. She relays her insights into forming deeper awareness within ourselves and how the crystals provide us with support for the transformations that are ready to be catalyzed. We talk about the legendary Moldavite properties and how we can enact change within ourselves, as we trust that which we know to be true.
