Setting sun dips into the roaring sea. I gaze at the last moments of daylight and notice the multitude of ruby red Hibiscus bathed in the glow. As I soak up the pink-orange warmth, amid a garden of sensual delight, my soul feels at one with the passionate flow of this moment.
The healing energy of Hibiscus connects us to our innate sensual presence. An ability to give and receive love passionately is the gift of this scarlet flower. With a fiery brilliance that draws us in, we become in touch with our bodies, opening to our deepest inner desires.
During the lull of winter, I marvel at the pleasure of being in Hawaii, where tropical blossoms flourish in abundance. Knowing I will return to colder temps and misty fog, I savor the beauty of this flowering all the more. I will take the heat of the blooming Hibiscus home with me and stoke the ardent flames, even on the chilliest days.
